Inspired by this card by Julie Ebersole, I made this fun little number for a former co-worker who is retiring next month -- my cohort is leaving the workforce in droves.
This awesome sentiment is perfect for so many occasions. (Love when the font matches the sentiment.)
Hard to see, but there is a small amount of gold Stickles on the card behind the vellum panel. Oh, and using washi tape for something other than holding down a die...
I sponged on the Stickles through a stencil. That was interesting, as the sponge is now permanently stickled....The sentiment is embossed on vellum and colored (on the flip side) with Copic markers.

I like the touch of stickles. adds an extra punch of gold sparkle! of course the washi tape was the first thing I noticed. I just love using that stuff! :) I know your friend will be so tickled with your card! :)
Gorgeous! Love the touch of graphic black and white - keeps it from being too sweet and gives it a bit of 'edge'!
One of my favorite and most-used expressions. Love the pretty rainbow wash of colors!
thanks; I debated that tape, thinking it didn't fit. But I decided using black only once wouldn't get me arrested!
What a beautiful card Joan! I've been trying to resist buying that stamp set :)
have to admit it is one of my faves.
thanks. love that sentiment, although I rarely use it!
Oh Happy Color Combo and that black & white graphic washi tape looks grand too.
