Concord & 9th Feature Friday: All the Letters, All the Numbers & Painted Bundle

Hello! Today I'm sharing 2 cards I've made with new Concord & 9th products.

Disclosure Note: While I don't participate in affiliate marketing, Concord & 9th sent its October release to me (as well as their ink cubes and a cardstock sampler.

All the Letters & Painted Bundle

In case you are wondering, I still like Mike!! LOL

I have a growing collection of alphabet stamps and dies and love them for their versatility. All the Letters has a solid and outline stamp plus a die and I used all of them for this card. If you look closely, you'll see a pale pink heart underneath the letters -- that's the heart from the Painted Bundle and am just getting started using it.

Speaking of ...

Painted Bundle

Painted Shapes (you can get it with or without the sentiments as part of the bundle) is right at the top of my favorite sets. I love the endless possibilities and will be sharing more, not because I agreed to do so, but because I love it!! For this card, I used the rectangle and the square a variety of Concord & 9th inks to make an "abstract painting." The sentiment and heart are from the Painted Sayings stamp set.

MOOD WHEN DONE: We are doing fine! Since I've shared bad news in the past, I thought I'd share that a recent medical test indicates that my heart is doing really well!!! Yeah!!

Hope your are all well.

Concord & 9th Feature Friday -- All The Merrys Bundle & On The Diagonal Turnabout

So happy to be a Concord & 9th guest designer for October! Settle back -- I have a lot to share. But before I do, also want to link to my interview with the owners, Angie and Greg, here -- 5 years ago!

Disclosure: all Concord & 9th products used here were provided to me by the company (thank you!!). (I had already purchased their inks and cardstocks and use them ALL the time.)

And now, cards!

All The Merrys Bundle

I love angles and typography so I am happy with how this one turned out! It was pretty simple to make. Stamped the large MERRY sentiment (using Concord & 9th inks) with the MISTI to guide placement. Ink colors: Stardust, Poppy, Sprout, Parsley, and Honeysuckle.

Next up is a fun card that uses the big tree die and a die cut with gold foil paper to add ornaments. Hint: use glue dots to adhere the pom poms. It's just different enough without being too odd....I hope!!

On The Diagonal Turnabout

I've never used a Turnabout stamp, and have to say now I am hooked. They make it easy to make multi colored backgrounds. This particular one appeals to my geometric loving heart!

Went with a play on candy corn for this card. Instead of using 4 colors for which the stamp is designed, I kept it to 2 -- Buttercup and Marmalade. I only stamped the center images, using washi tape to mask off the close by images, and used small pieces of white cardstock to avoid waste. Finally, die cut the pieces with a square die from my stash to build this design. Sentiment is from another new C9 set, Buds & Blossoms

And then I made a modern Christmas card, using a sentiment from All The Merrys.

Hard to tell in the picture, but I coated the colors, Honeysuckle and Stardust, with clear Wink of Stella. Stardust + Clear Wink = Gold!

Thanks for joining me. I'll be back for the next 2 Fridays featuring the rest of the Concord & 9th October release.

MOOD WHEN DONE: Fantastic!

Hello October?

Here are a few cards I posted on IG recently. Made these as part of the Gina K Designs September release. I was featuring a lovely set called Bloomin Wild. Love the ruffled edges on those petals. I didn't have the dies, but there is a set of coordinating dies.

I delete photos after I post on IG so these are screen shots. I've go to stop doing that! I'll be back soon with more cards.

MOOD WHEN DONE: Happy it's October! The weather here in Dallas is (finally) cooler and that makes me happy.
