Summer Shells

Made this card a couple of weeks ago when we were in the middle of a month long stretch of rain and clouds and I needed to bring some sunshine indoors. Used just the outline, or top layer, of some of the shells in the Hero Arts Color Layering Seahorse set. Combining these bright colors (Altenew Warm Sunshine and Coral Berry) with black makes them pop.

Embellished with Electric Pink and Gold Pico Embellisher. After practicing on scrap paper, I just went for it and added them directly to the card. Love that stuff. If I had the $$ and the space, I'd buy every color!

MOOD WHEN DONE = Happy! The Altenew Dye and the Hero Arts Intense Black ink provide excellent coverage.  Yum.

Oh, Joan, this card is beautiful! (and I agree, this spring in the Baltimore/Washington area has been too gray and dreary!)

I love those colors together, very bright and sunshiny. The Pico dots look great on there - I need to remember that I have that stuff!

Bright and sunshiny. Really love those shells and the starfish without the layering. The black sentiment shows up beautifully on them. And those Pico dots look like something else I'd love to have. It never ends.
