Berries and Gingham

So happy to have some Waltzingmouse Stamps back in my house.  This one is Big Berries:  Strawberries.  It's a small set but the two step strawberry is a snap to use.

To get full ink coverage on such a large stamp, it is best to use a pigment or chalk ink, rather than dye ink.  However, if you prefer dye ink , stamping on a piece of foam or even a few paper towels under your cardstock will provide even coverage.

Love how this one came out.   The square checks work well with the round polka dots.

Hard to see but this is a two layer card.  I adhered the ribbon with my new favorite tool -- one of those little staplers.  Staple, tie, trim.

MOOD WHEN DONE = Happy

Stamps:  Waltzingmouse Big Berries: Strawberry
Ink:  Brilliance Red Rocket, VersaMagic Key Lime and Ranger Archival Ink, Jet Black

Yay!! You're back! You're back! You're back!
Just stumbled on a thread at Splitcoast where you responded. Read your comment, admired your new profile picture and thought to myself, "she has a new picture...so CUTE! Maybe I'll send her a PM and tell her I like it". Then thought, "nah, she'll think I'm a weird stalker"! Started to scroll down the page when I caught the "new blog" link out of the corner of my eye!
WAIT JUST A MINUTE! New blog? For real??? AWE-SOME!! :-)

Love the strawberry card too! :-)

*smacking my head* I have one of those cool little stapler's and it has NEVER crossed my pea brain to use it to fasten ribbon (okay, confession, I need to move it to a place where I can actually see the thing. I forget that I have it and never use it!!)
Very cute with the dots and gingham

so glad you got the tiny attacher. mine sits on the roly poly cart right next to my chair, top shelf. that is how much I love and use it. :) it looks great on the card above this one, too!
