Hope you are able to choose some happy.
Used dies from Spellbinders Simply Perfect Layered Blooms & Mini 3D Vignette Floral Mason Jar (large flower) and a CZ Design sentiment strip to make a folk art design.
My favorite red cardstock is Concord & 9th Poppy, which is a very warm bright red. It seems to need other colors to tone it down, so I used blue, black, and a cream base. (I've tried pairing it with a bright green and it looks almost neon.)
MOOD WHEN DONE: Choosing happy today.

It is a fabulous red, Joan! I wouldn't tone it down at all!
BTW here is where I was going with my IG comment yesterday - you weren't the only designer to take me down this Pennsylvania Dutch/Amish 'hex sign' design road!
Such a beautiful card!

That is some gorgeous bright red (which I love). If this is toned down... A striking card, Joan!
Beautiful card, Joan. And . . . I am choosing to be happy today too.
Hi Joan! I love the blue cardstock you used. Who makes it?
Kelly, I believe that this blue cardstock is from the Stamp Market. I think it is cobalt. thanks
