Stencils: Cheap and Easy!!

Made this with a popsicle stencil!

Love how relatively inexpensive stencils are. They are versatile and easy to store. Now that I'm stamping in a corner of my living room, space is a huge consideration.

BTW: If you want to make a geometric style card, I strongly recommend using grid paper. That way you can count the squares and move the stencil the exact distance repeatedly. Kind of like using a MISTI to stamp.

MOOD WHEN DONE: delighted by your comments on my earlier post. Who knows, maybe I will blog regularly again. I've missed you!

Such a beautiful result. I'm so pleased to hear of another crafter that has a small spot in a family room so had to limit space & I have to limit containers to blend in with lounge. Thank you x

Enjoyed your previous post and loved the update--and I can totally relate to having all the things going on! And, I hear ya' on the down-sizing; while I'm thankful to have a room in the house for creative work, I'm actually looking forward to simplifying. That sewing machine I purchased for sewing on paper hasn't been used in 5+ years, so I don't know why I keep hanging onto it, LOL!

This card is another fab creation, Joan! TFS, and Happiest of New Years to you! XO!

It's good to see these posts from you, Joan. I was surprised to hear you'd moved, but I can understand it. I'm loving stencils a lot lately, but can't let go of the designer papers, either. So glad I have a room for this, but I do keep the supplies pared down. I really like these soft rainbow colors. So fun and clever to make it with a popsicle stencil!
