Happy Festivus!

December 23rd! It's Festivus -- the day we all can whine away!

I celebrated by making this slimline card (likely the first and last slimline I make!). I cut out the letters using different alphabet dies and all Stamp Market cardstock, intending to use the letters themselves. Honestly, the thought of die cutting a bunch more to make the letters thick just wore me out, so I decided to use the leftovers! Perfect for Festivus!

I was part of a mini Instagram hop celebrating the holiday. You can find my post here and check out the links to the other cards.

I'm whining this year about the plastic wrap around slices of American cheese (Why? It is such an environmental waste, costs $$, and makes the fake cheese taste even fakier.). My other whine is the fact that it takes multiple clicks of the remote control to turn our TV on or off. You see, life is tough in 2020!

MOOD WHEN DONE: Annoyed! After all, it's Festivus! Happy to listen to your whines in the comments!

My favorite peanut butter fudge recipe calls for an 18 oz jar of peanut butter. Well, guess what product has finally fallen victim to the sneaky “shrink the amount and jack up the price” ploy! Peanut butter is now in a 16.something oz jar. Granted, it’s only reduced by a little under 2 ounces, but it’s the principle of the thing. Ok, my grievance has been aired lol
Happy Fetivus!

I've never heard about Festivus, but my whine would be: Graham wafers used to be so good. Now they are smaller & so over sweet I won't eat them or use them for a base anymore. Why do they always think they have to change something when it's so good to start with? I know, marketing... grrr.
Having said that, on a much brighter note, I wish you & your family a very Merry Christmas & an attitude of gratitude, no matter what comes your way. HE is the reason for the season.
