I'm posting this from the hospital but I made the card a few days ago. Still testing out a new drug.
In the meantime, here's what I'm calling Red Deer, using the L'l Inkers Design Oh Deer Christmas set.
Used color pencils to add color to the deer. Stamped this with a grey ink to get a softer look. Added speckles from the set onto the red cardsock in gold, white, and red but to provide a little visual interest.
And that's all I've got in my card stash. Until I get back to stamping, I may just come on here and share stories...

Oh, this is a beauty!
I've loved all your deer cards but this is my favorite. This shows me I truly am a traditionalist at heart since this color scheme has the most red. Hope things go well at the hospital. And please, tell as many stories as you want!!!
I'm a fan of the grey [surprised?] you are right that he doesn't look as fierce with that softer look. I'm a fan of your stories, J.B. ... take care, and share away!

I love everything about this card. The red against the kraft colored cardstock or envelope that's behind it along with the bow. Perfect accents. I hope the hospital stay is behind you in no time.
I love this card. It would be something I'd make and send for the holidays. Thanks for sharing, if you don't send us anymore cards for awhile that's okay. Do keep us posted on your stories, though!! I can't wait!
You've got me totally in love with this stamp set. It's definitely on my wish list. I love it stamped in the softer ink, and the red in the background is fantastic.
