A note to each of you who takes the time to look at what I make, whether it is here on the blog, on Facebook, Pinterest, or Instagram -- thank you!
Wiped daubers across the cardstock -- something that I saw Julie Ebersole do. Love the bright bold look of the yellow against the pale gray, so I had to make an envelope liner (just ran the dauber over patterned paper):
Supplies:
- White linen cardstock (Ellen Hutson and Papertrey Ink carry this; however, using thicker cardstock for this technique is recommended)
- Hero Arts Ink Dauber Butter Cup
- Ranger Pewter Distress Stain Brushed Pewter
- Essentials by Ellen by Julie Autumn Acorns
- Ranger Black Archival Ink
- Paper Source envelope
- Stampin Up patterned paper
- Clear and Simple Stamps A2 envelope die

Perfection!!!
Love, love, love! This reminds me that with all the products out there, I am still drawn to simple, graphic (and perfect!) design using simple colours and shape. That yellow is stunning!
So simple, yet so striking! That yellow really pops! I have very much enjoyed following your blog- so thank you for sharing!

Fun card & envelope! I love gray & yellow together. Thanks.
You are ever so welcome, Joan ... love your card! But, if you please? Make another with that darling paper you've created in the envelope - it deserves center stage!!!

Very cool! By looking at my cards you'd never know how much I adore this CAS style. Sheesh! You've mastered it, Joan!
I just love visiting here, Joan! There is always something fun to see and something new to learn! The bold yellow stripes are so striking with soft gray. Just beautiful! ♡
Brilliant idea and I love the bright stripes of color. One more idea to file away for future use.
