Sparkly Love

Using up more of the July Pinkfresh Studio kit.  It came with a bunch of these printed wooden hearts.  And a test tube full of dark pink bling.  Figure I better start using that bling!  Watercolored part of the heart with gold paint and then added some pink.

Supplies:

Pinkfresh Studio July kit (gold puffy letters, wooden heart, and gems)
White cardstock
Black, Gold, and Pink kuretake gansai tambi watercolor paint (the black is excellent for a true black splatter effect)
Water
Paintbrush
Spun Sugar and Pickled Raspberry Ranger distress inks
Ranger craft sheet
Ranger blending tool
Tattered Lace liquid adhesive
Tweezers (to place bling)

MOOD WHEN DONE = pink and gold is a happy thing!

really pretty Joan - will have to try the black Gamsai for spatter - hadn't thought of that but it give such a cool effect!

I love this card but I think my favorite part is the perfect splattering. Do you just flick it off your paintbrush? I always seem to make blobs.

Very sparkly! And your photography looks awesome. :)

this may sound silly but I had to practice to avoid the blobs. I use a small paintbrush and enough water. i try it out on scrap paper first to make sure I have the right combo of paint, water and distance from the card.

I'm very impressed with the splatter and the corner sponging to enhance your main elements. Exceptionally pretty, Joan!

You do CAS so well Joan! Wish I could just leave a card alone sometimes, but I always have to fill it up.
Simple is good!
