What's That Word?

What's that word for not having your act together, for letting life spin in the wrong direction?  Whatever the word is, I'm that word.

It's the 30 out of the 45 pounds that I lost last year that I've gained back.

It's the inability to sleep more than a few hours a night.

It's the amount of time spent sedentary -- and by sedentary I don't mean just not moving. I mean not doing anything.

It's the sugar.

It's the headaches.

It's withdrawing from most social activity.

It's work related stress.

It's that this list is all related and the word that connects them is PASSIVE. I'm taking steps to go from passive to ACTIVE and to work on each of the above.  Tackling that huge list all at once would guarantee failure.  So small bits.  First step is logging off here.  I'll be back to let you know how it is going.

Cruising.....

It's been a long time since I've been on a cruise . . .

Too long!  Waiters, cooks, cabin attendants, sun... ahh...Or working, cooking, cleaning, laundry.  Either way, life's a trip.

Fun card to make -- a dash of orange neon (Hero Arts anchor) set off by the Studio Calico blue patterned paper.  Lawn Fawn sentiment.  Like I said, fun!

Welcome (Back)

Why another blog?

I made a card yesterday.  The first in a long time.  I like it and thought about taking its photo and describing how I made it.  Then I remembered.

No blog.

I was at the gas station today and bumped into "M",  who works at the nursing home where my mom spent the last year plus of her life.   He took care of her.  A million feelings flooded over me, and I started composing in my head.  Then I remembered.

No blog.

Clearly, whatever negative cloud engulfed me for the past few months has moved on.  So, to those of you who have found me, to my former Paperlicious and Creating White Spaces readers, thanks and welcome back.  I apologize for the abrupt departure.  Very bad blogger form.  It's a long story.  I'll share it after I photograph that card...
